Wei-Xuan Kang

Wei-Xuan is from Taichung, Taiwan. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from National Taiwan Normal University, where he conducted undergraduate research with Prof. Tun-Cheng Chien on the synthesis of tilivalline derivatives. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant at Academia Sinica under the supervision of Prof. Todd Lowary, gaining experience in the synthesis of oligosaccharides. Wei-Xuan joined the Boydston Group in December 2025. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, and watching Netflix.
