Ernie Alvino

Ernie is originally from Mullica Hill, NJ. He received his B.S. in chemistry from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force in 2019. There, he worked with Dr. Abby Jennings on the synthesis and characterization of POSS-perfluorocyclopentene (PFCP) polymers. He joined the Boydston group in August of 2019. Outside of the lab, he enjoys working out, watching sports, being outside, and listening to music.

Ernie earned his M.S. in chemistry from UW-Madison in December 2020.
